Choosing a mobile operator
So now that you have the basics about mobile phones in Spain, the obvious question is which company is the best?
In terms of coverage, Movistar is clearly the best with Vodafone not too far behind. Amena's coverage is less reliable in some areas, in particular out of major cities, but this is improving. In terms of rates, the case is exactly the opposite with Amena in general offering the best deals, followed by Vodafone and then Movistar.
